aidan sevinsky
Wetting team leader
Email: ajsevinsky@wpi.edu
My name is Aiden Sevinsky and my undergraduate degree is in mechanical engineering, and I’m staying an extra semester for a graduate degree in materials science. I joined the lab about a year ago right when Professor Daniello was looking for students to help with the wetting project, which I jumped on for. I did some work for the wetting project over the summer full time (literature review, drop pictures, printing parts for the test setup, modeled the drying chamber, made some guides on how to use the camera, etc.) and continued that work through the year part time. I don’t currently have any other research projects in mind, but I do have interests in anything related to polymers or metallurgy, as well as their associated manufacturing processes. As for hobbies, I enjoy most outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, camping and disc golfing. I’m also known to take a fair bit of motorcycle trips around Massachusetts to go camping or visit historical sites, as well as up to Maine for some beach days and such.
